This coffee is sourced from a family owned estate located in the municipality of San Pedro Necta within the department of Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Finca El Limonar is owned and operated by Hugo Chávez Mendez, a third-generation coffee producer, who continues the traditions passed down from his grandfather, Jose Olivia Chávez, who established the estate in the 1940’s. The abundance of spring water on the estate provides year around hydropower for the mill operations and pristine water for processing coffee.
